The fourth and last novel by the American author Stephenie Meyer is ‘Breaking Dawn’. It is the final book describing the dramatic love story between the vampire Edward Cullen and the fragile girl Bella Swan. It is written in three parts. The first and third are written from Bella’s view and the second one is from Jacob Black’s perspective. The novel continues the plot from Eclipse. Bella and Edward finally get happily married leaving Jacob totally heartbroken. On their honeymoon Bella realises that she is pregnant with a child that is half a vampire and half-human. They immediately return to Forks. Bella is in danger because she may die if she gives birth to such a baby. Jacob protects her decision to keep it. Edward has to make her a vampire in order to save her life. They call the little creature Renesmee. However, the Volturi plan to destroy the child because they think it’s dangerous and immortal. All vampires around the world have gathered. The Cullens have to show them they’re wrong and sve the child. The last battle will be truly difficult. But in the end, good will rise against all odds and they will live happily ever after.
