Fifteen years later after his kidnapping from Rio de Janeiro, Blu, a Spix’s Macaw, and Linda have turned best friends and live with one another in her bookstore. The macaw is unable to fly, or take off for that matter, and has adopted a human’s lifestyle. However, Blu is informed by Túlio Monterio an ornithologist that he is the last male Macaw in existence and the last chance for the Macaw species to continue. Followin his advice, Linda and Blu travel to Rio, only to participate in the journey of their lifetime – crazy kidnappers of exotic birds intervene, as Blu makes new bird friends who teach him the art of living, of flying and of Love( not that he needs for he and Jewel enjoy a fruitful relationship together). Having learned all he could, Blu must overcome his fears, defeat the bad guys and save the girl ( Macaw) he loves.

Listen to the tale of Alice - a teacher, a wife and a brave breast cancer survivor, as she begins to have potent dreams (for instance, a mute little girl, strange chanting women, knives, snakes) which spill into her real world, and combine with scary but nonetheless moving flashbacks from the cancer treatment. Her dreams suck the life out of her, as Alice aids one of the ESL students, a pleasant and young Vietnamese woman, she flees her abusive husband to consequently become entangled with a strange and mysterious group of women that draw on her dreams and themselves help her come to terms with the fear and anger had had to face following the traumatic cancer diagnosis and treatment. It is a real movie about real-life drama and tragedy. Every woman’s nightmare , the story is something people fear yet it presents an emotional and moving cast of characters which make it a pleasant experience.
