A film describing how no matter what disappointments and falls life may bring you can always find hope in the small things. ‘’The ivy league’’ is an enjoyable American comedy. It follows the life of a wimp who carries cards called Matthew Klein. Due to his extremely ugly-looking thinness he wears a lot of clothes to hide it. The poor guy has an awful Fiancee who flirts with porn stars just to get closer to their money. When Matthew finds out all about this he feels sad, disappointed and useless. So he decides to leave his home in Atlanta and start whole new life in a small town near New York. Unfortunately, there is no place for him there as the city is full of hooligans from his childhood. Matthew tries hard to fit, maybe find love and happiness by reopening the old cheese shop of his grandfather. Is he stubborn enough to succeed?
