Listen to the tale of Alice - a teacher, a wife and a brave breast cancer survivor, as she begins to have potent dreams (for instance, a mute little girl, strange chanting women, knives, snakes) which spill into her real world, and combine with scary but nonetheless moving flashbacks from the cancer treatment. Her dreams suck the life out of her, as Alice aids one of the ESL students, a pleasant and young Vietnamese woman, she flees her abusive husband to consequently become entangled with a strange and mysterious group of women that draw on her dreams and themselves help her come to terms with the fear and anger had had to face following the traumatic cancer diagnosis and treatment. It is a real movie about real-life drama and tragedy. Every woman’s nightmare , the story is something people fear yet it presents an emotional and moving cast of characters which make it a pleasant experience.
